Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt – Collector’s Edition:

A prodigious deluxe edition of a master piece of the Islamic world, presenting an august Arabic facsimile edition and an eloquent English translation alongside a third book 'Introduction to the Dalā’il'.

The authenticity of this work is unrivalled, as shaykh Muhammad Al-Yaqoubi, brings to this edition half a century of expertise in Islamic studies and Arabic literature. In fact, this edition sums up five hundred years legacy of the sacred knowledge in Islam.

This precious collection consists of three books:

1. Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt, the original Arabic, edited by shaykh al-Yaqoubi, and compared against the oral narration of the Dalā’il in Marrakech and Fes; and verified against some of the best manuscripts. It is a facsimile edition of the 1305 Istanbul edition, which was written by ʿUthmān Nūrī Kāyishzāda, who also wrote 106 copies of the Holy Quran.

2. Guides to Goodness, an English Translation that reflects the beauty of original Arabic, and conveys during the spirit of the author, imam al-Jazūli, may Allah have mercy on him. Both editions, the Arabic and the English are lavishly gilded, illuminated and bound, in a way that puts in our hands an example of the old illustrious manuscripts of the Dala’il Al-Khayrāt.

3. Introduction to the Dalā’il. A study that brings deep insight and new discoveries. It includes a glimpse into the Dalā’il and its treasures, biography of Imam Jazuli, tips on how to recite the Dalā’il. At the end of it, shaykh al-Yaqoubi presents to the reader of the Dalā’il a unique ijāzah, a license, to narrate the Dalā’il to spiritully connect the reader to the author, imam al-Jazūli. He mentions eight chains, with scholars from the four Sunni schools of law spanning from Morocco to Mecca and Medina, the first time these chains are presented.

It worthy to mention that the shaykh al-Yaqoubi spent 55 years of his life reciting the Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt, and that he received it from the top scholars and men of Allah in Damascus, his father, sayyid Ibrahim and al-Yaqoubi (d. 1406 / 1985) and sayyid Makki al-Kittāni (d. 1393 / 1973).

Shaykh al-Yaqoubi has devoted his life to the service of the Dalā’il, he has authored two other books in Arabic related to it. The first is a 750 page work called The Key to Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt, where he presents detailed account of the life of imam al-Jazūli, his teachers, his travels, his spiritual journey, and his teachings. Beside unveiling, the sources imam al-Jazūli relied on when he wrote the Dalā’il, the benefits of special forms of prayers in the Dalā’il, the attention Muslim scholars gave to the Dalā’il and much more in 30 chapters.

The second book is an encyclopedia of the chains of the narrations through which the Dalā’il has been transmitted in the Muslim World. This book, called ‘Chains of Blessings’ is over 8500 pages. Both of these additional works will be released in the upcoming year.

Signatoras prestigious edition of  Dalā’il Al-Khayrāt will launch officially on the 1st July at the Bradford Literature Festival and will be followed with a one month public tour of the United Kingdom.   Follow the instagram pages of @shaykh_alyaqoubi and @signatora_books for more information and updates.
