Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi |

Born in Damascus on the 13th of Dhul Hijja, 1382 AH (1963 CE), Shaykh Sayyid Muhammad Abul Huda al-Yaqoubi is from a noble family of scholars that descend from the Prophet Muhammad (may Allah's peace and blessings be upon him). From this household have emerged numerous renowned men of Allah who have taught the sacred sciences for many centuries. Shaykh Muhammad's father, the light of Damascus and master of the Islamic disciplines, Sayyid Ibrahim al-Yaqoubi, was one of the greatest scholars of The Levant in recent times.

Shaykh Faisal Hamid Abdur-Razak lives in Brampton, Canada. From 1977 to 1986 he studied in Saudi Arabia, first at Umm al-Qurra University in Makkah, then at King Abdulaziz University in Jeddah. He also studied at York University, Toronto, Canada.
While in Saudi Arabia, in addition to University studies, he studied under many Scholars and Shaykhs, including Shaykh Hasan Ayub, Shaykh Muhammad al-Ghazali, Shaykh Muhammad Qutb, Shaykh Abdur-Rahman Barood, Shaykh Muhammad al-Wasfi, Shaykh Farooq al-Batal, Shaykh Muhammad Ali al-Sabuni, Shaykh Abdullah Nasih `Alwan, Shaykh Maw’il Ezziddin al-Samura’ee.

Shaykh Gibril Fouad Haddad is a well-known Lebanese-American scholar and religious leader and has emerged as one of the clearest voices of traditional Islam in the West and is quickly earning a reputation as a respected translator and interpreter of the sacred Islamic texts.
Born in 1960 in to a middle-class Lebanese Catholic family in Beirut, Lebanon, and schooled in England, he declared his shahadah in 1991 as a graduate student at Columbia University in New York where he obtained his PhD degree in French literature.

Ustadh Amjad Mahmood is a graduate in Arabic, Persian and Middle Eastern Languages of Manchester University.
Upon the completion of his degree, he departed for Syria where he studied full-time for the next seven and a half years in Aleppo and Damascus.
Ustadh Amjad is resident in Birmingham (UK) and currently teaches at Ghamkol Sharif Masjid and at the Sultan Bahu Masjid.

Shaykh Yaseen is an accomplished English speaking teacher who developed a strong interest in acquiring the traditional Islamic sciences from an early age. While actively participating in local gatherings of dhikr and knowledge, Sidi Yaseen secured his basic Islamic foundations through studies with qualified ulema from the community amongst them most notably Shaykh Rasul Baksh Saeedi of the FR Institute. To further develop his Arabic proficiency, he also travelled to the ‘land of Knowledge’ (Syria) and during this stay was fortunate enough to consistently meet and learn from several renowned scholars of the current era, including Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi.

Born and raised in Nottingham, UK, Abdul Aziz Ahmed is a teacher specialising in supporting children with Additional Support Needs in mainstream schools in Scotland and has wide experience of management in education and with several voluntary organisations in various parts of the world.
He has been involved in publishing, translating and editing Islamic journals and books. He has travelled widely seeking and teaching traditional Islamic knowledge. He studied under various Shuyukh in different parts of the world.

Mohammad Monawwar Ateeq completed his initial studies at Hazrat Sultan Bahu Trust, Birmingham (UK) where he covered several Islamic and Arabic disciplines under specialised teachers. He furthered his studies in Damascus, under Allamah Sayyid Muhammad al-Yaqoubi, Shaykh Gibril Haddad and other notable scholars and later in Pakistan.
Shaykh Monawwar took the Naqshbandi path from his father, Shaykh Muhammad Abdullah Ateeq and received khilafa in the Qadiri Order from the Sufi Master and Teacher of Lahore, Allamah Abdul Hakim Sharaf Qadiri (ra), along with other Ijazas in the Islamic sciences from numerous scholars.

Born and raised in Glasgow, UK, Ustadha Safia Shahid travelled to Syria in 2003 to study sacred knowledge. She remained there for five years, studying Arabic at the University of Damascus and the Abu Nour Institute.
Ustadha Safia attended the classes of several illustrious scholars of our time, such as Shaykh Gibril Haddad, Shaykh Adnan Darwish and received ijaza to teach tajwid from Shaykh Abul Hassan Al-Kurdi.

Ustadha Asra Adiba Bukhari |

Born in India, raised in America and awakened in Syria, Asra Adiba Bukhari is the daughter of Syed Shah Maqdum Muhyideen Bukhari, hafizhahullah, who spread Islam in Las Vegas after emigrating from India in the 70’s of the last century. His forefather, the great wali, Syed Muhammad Badesha Bukhari, rahimahullah, left the dunya and his position as Chief Justice in the King’s High Court for a barren land. Upon realizing his Chief Justice was not returning, the King of Hyderabad, Mehboob Ali Khan, built a masjid in the desert for him and soon people followed him there naming the town after him, Sayyidabad.

Shaykh Ahmad Maeno embraced Islam in 1994 at the age of 18. After graduating from Osaka University of Foreign Studies, majoring in Arabic language and working for a Japanese company in Osaka and Nagoya Mosque, he embarked on a journey of seeking the Sacred Knowledge in the blessed land of Shaam.
