Over the years Sacred Knowledge has been fortunate in hosting Munshids invited by Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. They are amongst the best exponents of their art in Syria today. Their training is traditional and covers all the aspects of Islamic singing. Shaykh Zuhayr is one of the mu'azzins in the Grand Umayyad Masjid, Shaykh Ridhwan ever-present at mawlids and gatherings around the city of Damascus and Shaykh Yasin, a devote Qari of note.
