Over the years Sacred Knowledge has been fortunate in hosting Munshids invitedby Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi. They are amongst the best exponents of their art inSyria today. Their training is traditional and covers all the aspectsof Islamic singing. Shaykh Zuhayr is one of the mu'azzins in the GrandUmayyad Masjid, Shaykh Ridhwan ever-present at mawlids and gatheringsaround the city of Damascus and Shaykh Yasin, a devote Qari of note.

We hope insha'Allah to revive love of Allah Most High and HisBeloved Messenger (peace and blessings upon him) by making available toour audience the best qasidas with full arabic and accompanying english translations.
