The Love & Marriage retreat 2009 |
|
Just got back from the retreat today and thought it was worth posting a
message on the thread to say what a wonderfully amazing, spiritually,
physically, emotionally uplifiting an experience this was. Having
attended the Rihla in Madinah many years ago, I thought I would never
have those feelings again, but alhamdulillah, this retreat delivered
much much more than my intentions and expectations could have
encompassed, alhamdulillah wa shukrillah (and I do not have low
expectations!!) and some of the feelings one might feel in the holiest
of lands were felt over the last few days.

On Saturday 14th March 2009, I joined hundreds of people from all different backgrounds at the Ghamkol Mosque in Birmingham to be in the presence of, and to listen to the erudite scholar, Sayyid Shaykh Muhammad al-Yaqoubi.
